I am currently sitting at my desk and reminiscing those moments when I dress up too much. I was like "oh dear god, ayen, what evil has gotten into you?" Seriously, it was really really bad. If there were only time travel machine or something, I would fix myself. I would, trust me.
First, cover up. Showing off too much skin won't give you any positive attention, especially if you going out on the first date. If you were thinking dressing up like Miley Cyrus makes you look sexy, thats when you need to re-think.
Second, if you are in your twenties or thirties or fourties, let go off your so called "teen fashion". Its time to make some experiments with your body, shapes or cuts whatsoever. Ask for a fashion advice, honest advice.
Third, wear something that fit you right. Don't squeeze yourself and wear something which is not comfortable with your skin. Be nice with your body.
Forth, a few pieces of jewelery is a go go. Overdoing it is a no no. Bling bling overload is something you women need to avoid.
Fifth, muslimah, please, if you know you gonna wear hijab, wearing tights are so like wearing undergarments. Please, please please wear jeans or anything suitable. And those animal-print tights...ohhh god, please avoid those!
Sixth, orange tan! What are you? A carrot?!
Last but not least, too much makeup. Those thick mascara, thick foundation, thick black eyeliner, red cheek red lips really need to go. Avoid those. You seriously don't want others to confuse you with a clown or a raccoon. Don't let those melt into your cleavage and end up looking like a burning pavlova between your chest.
Above are just my two cents. I thought maybe if I share some tips, I could be your life saver. However, these are just basic tips for teens tho (as I read these again and again) but as for older women, if you think you dress up looking like an old teenage girl, some of these tips might be useful. Ask for advice, ask for your friends opinion or from sales assistant.
